2022 PennCrest Music Fest at Cresson Lake Playhouse

Cresson Lake Playhouse in combination with PennCrest Bank is pleased to announce its second music fest. Last year's was a resounding success. This wonderful evening of musical entertainment will be held on July 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the new outdoor performing space behind the Barn theater at 279 Shapiro Road in Loretto and will include many great musical performances.

Performers will include:

A return performance by Johnstown's favorite duo, Walt Churchey and Jackie Kopco, who have a special chemistry and ease that captivates audiences to the last song. They play a variety of instruments, including piano, ukulele, guitar and Walt's famous bongos, and they move easily from old country to new pop, bringing a fresh take to live acoustic music.

Full Kilt, together since 2006, they combine traditional foot stomping tunes with driving rock rhythms and vocals. Their specialty is taking rock songs and "Celticfying" them. If you haven't heard them before, you will love them at the music fest!

Felix and the Hurricanes have used spontaneity and the fine art of showing audiences a good time. Never using setlists and going by the vibe from the crowd and sometimes playing 3 hours without a break. Firing off songs one after another from covers to originals, from Blues rock, Southern, classic and country. Catch a Hurricane at the music fest this year!

Band of Eden features the talented group consisting of Brad Barron: bass, John Charney: guitar, vocals, Annalise Martin: lead vocals, and Dom Peruso: drums. While the newest group of the four headliners, their style is so smooth you would think they've been performing together for decades. They love doing covers as well as premiering new works. You will love being entertained by them!

Performing between the headline acts, Moore & Moore features a father and son acoustic duo., Bo Moore has been performing acoustic guitar professionally in Western and Central PA for over a decade. In addition to this, Bo has worked as a professional Disc Jockey since 1995, performing on radio at various community events. He loves performing with his son, Tucker. Their smooth acoustic stylings will be butter to your ears!

This is a rain or shine event. Bring a comfy chair or blanket. Food and beverages (including alcoholic beverages for age 21 and older) will be available for cash purchase. No outside food or beverage is permitted.

50/50 tickets and rip tickets will also be available throughout the event.
