About the Show:

In this classic by renowned playwright Noel Coward, Charles Condomine is a temperamental writer, who is haunted by the spirit of his first wife, the energetic Elvira, after she is mistakenly summoned during a seance by a medium, Madame Arcati. Charles suddenly finds himself in the middle of a most otherworldly love triangle, between Elvira and his second wife Ruth. Elvira, however, is determined to have Charles all to herself, even if it means finding a way for him to join her in the afterlife.

Roles:

Charles Condomine- bright, sophisticated, articulate, and debonair but somewhat at the mercy of his wives, past and present. Interested in the supernatural, but at first quite skeptical.

Ruth Condomine-Ruth Condomine, Charles’s second wife. Like her husband, Ruth is witty and sophisticated, albeit a bit stuffy. She is convinced that Charles has lost his mind when Elvira appears.

Elvira-the ghost of Charles’s first wife. Only Charles can see or hear her. Outgoing, wild, and carefree. She does love Charles, if somewhat casually, and is jealous of Ruth.

Madame Arcati-the local medium. Quite eccentric and effusive. Her contact with the spirit world is the ghost of a little girl named Daphne

Dr. George Bradman-good friend of the Charle. Entirely skeptical of anything to do with the occult.

Violet Bradman-Dr. Bradman’s wife. Simple and naïve.

Edith-the Condomine’s new maid. Nervous and runs around the house trying to do her chores.

When sweethearts Brad and Janet stumble upon the mysterious castle of Dr. Frank N. Furter, they’re swept into a world of glam, glitter, and sci-fi mischief in this over-the-top tribute to B-movie horror and 1950s rock ‘n’ roll.
